Hello, I’m Bailey. I grew up in Timaru; a small city in the South Island of New Zealand. I realised my passion for performing when I started busking at the age of 12. It wasn’t long before the street soon became the stage and I was involved in as many theatre productions as possible.
In November 2014 I auditioned for the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts – Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre and was fortunate to be accepted. After being accepted I realised the cost of the course was out of my comfort zone and knew I would need a lot of help if I actually wanted to study in Perth. Thankfully I was blessed with the support of my friends, family and the community around me and managed to raise enough.
I thoroughly enjoy my visits back home over the summer breaks, and hope to continue these as I venture out into the industry. I plan to work in Australia for some time, before eventually travelling and trying my luck on Broadway or West End. I want to keep pursuing my pop music and eventually create an album or two of some original material.
